This weekend I had a fun spree at Dior. Spurred by the sunshine and the lure of spring collections hitting the shelves I couldn’t wait any longer to try the Dior Trianon collection.
Following a fantastic makeover I left feeling excited about this weeks #SundayNails it was so hard leaving the other two shades behind. But purchased Porcelaine, Perle and the lip hydrating Dior Addict Colour Awakening Lip Balm, to soothe and bring life to my winter dehydrated lips.
As discussed in my spring nail trends post, I wanted to give Porcelaine a twist and although I originally planned to just tip the nails like a French manicure however I wanted to show more of the spring colour.
For the base colour I looked to another French couturier. Balmain. The Balmain Nude is beautifully skintoned from 1 coat and offers the perfect base for Porcelaine to pop.
Inspired by the Marie Antoinette era, pastels, bows, big hair and frivolity. I thought a modern look would add a new dimension to the look.
How would you wear Porcelaine?
