After a busy weekend away in Edinburgh for the Scottish Beauty Show this weeks #SundayNails got delayed.
I’m now on holidays from work until 1 April so I’m celebrating. Despite not heading to tropical climes I thought I would bring holiday nails to life anyway.
With a fabulous trip to the Cotswolds planned by my boy I wanted a fun pop of colour to contrast the green countryside and Cotswold stone. If I’m going to be in wellies and Barbour jackets I need to up the anti on the girly factor.
I love coral hues and own an awful lot of them, I fell for CND Vinylux Weekly Polish Tropix #154 as soon as I saw it. Although it is deemed as a one shot, no base coat required I do find that CND Vinylux polishes can stain the nail bed. Therefore I used Deborah Lippmann Rehydrating Base Coat underneath it. I finished my manicure with CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat.
I have found the formula of CND Vinylux to be a little streaky and bubbly so I tried to be more cautious on application and I’m happy with the result.
