This weekend I was whisked away to the English countryside, think hiking (my term for a country stroll… It involved going over stiles so I’m deeming it a hike) superb sunshine, pottering around little shops and lots of cheeky G&Ts in country pubs. If you enjoy G&Ts I bid you to seek out Elderflower tonic in place of your usual tonic and add a splash of lime cordial. This will rock your world. FACT. My man certainly out did himself and is currently basking in his newly earned brownie points. So hopefully this lovely description of my long weekend will forgive the tardy #SundayNails post.
In a way the delay helped this weeks post as yesterday after a lovely shopping spree on my last day off before I head back to the office I saw these amazing new Sheer Tint Top Coats by OPI. They had just landed in store that morning so I snapped them up! For those in and around London, you can pick them up in the OPI store in Westfield London. If not give them a google 🙂
So what are they? Well, they are tinted top coats that infuse your manicure with a coloured Perspex like hue. You can also use them to layer, create fun designs and have fun with your manicure!
After seeing all the countryside in bloom I decided to be creative and layer splashes of colour. It’s actually very simple and effective. I did however prep my nails first. A base coat of Deborah Lippmann Rehydrating Base Coat
and then 2 coats of Giorgio Armani Zero to have a white toned canvas.
What design would you try with these Spring Sheer Tints?
