This weekend was a big one for me, the important meet the parents trip! Thankfully all went well (at least I thought so). I also managed to win on my bet in the Grand National and The Boat Race. So in celebration of a truly lovely weekend I wanted a sparkly shade but in an understated way.

So what shade to turn to? First I started off with Sparitual’s Illumination but it was just too sparkly for what I was looking to achieve. So I decided to redo them. I had another search and remembered the gorgeous Dior Perle I had purchased a few months ago and not really used properly.

Using a Rimmel French Manicure as base colour I layered with the pearlescent top coat from Dior. With a matte effect it brings a new dimension to a pearlescent shimmer.

I really like nude shades and this one I feel is a great spring alternate to pastels. A touch of blush which makes me feel girly. It’s very easy to apply with Dior’s large brush applicator.

Have you tried Dior Perle?

  1. I’m not sure why but this website is loading very slow for me.
Is anyone else having this issue or is it a issue on my end?
I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.
