This weekend I’m celebrating another glorious sunny bank holiday in London. With only two weeks to go before the big move, it mean one thing. Shopping. My boys worst nightmare and my idea of heaven. Somehow we managed to tick off all the furniture shopping in a record one hour twenty minutes. Amazing.
For today’s #SundayNails I let boy chose … He picked this gorgeous sapphire blue hue by the very ‘cheeky’ cowshed. I really love it. With a shimmer of purple underlying the blue, it is super jewel like without being sparkly.
The application is very fluid with a wide brush, so care is a must. One sweep goes a long way. Be warned! Two applications however, is a must for ultimate coverage and an even finish. For a pro gloss sheen I reached for one of my firm favourite top coats, Seche Vite.
The boy sadly is working bank holiday Monday, apparently investment banks don’t rest up, so it will be Sunday blues for him. For me, I’m planning to take this weeks #SundayNails to the seaside and bask in the Brighton sunshine tomorrow with friends.
We have reviewed a few of the new Cheeky shades from cowshed, following a lovely PR package arriving at #SundayNails HQ a few weeks back. This hue turned mega cheeky after playing a disappearing act only to surface last weekend in my handbag. So it was fate to adorn my tips this week.
The other Cheeky shades really withstood the wear of the week so I’m interested to see how a darker shade holds up to the #SundayNails challenge.
For the rest of our #sundaynails Sunday it’s celebration and champagne time for a family birthday BBQ.
Tell us how you’re spending your #SundayNails Sunday!
Don’t forget to tube in next week for a #SundayNails special love from The Scratch Stars Awards. The UK Nail Awards, we are delighted to be cordially invited to attend.
