So it’s been awhile since I last posted as I’ve had a crazy few weekends. First up moving! Yes we have finally moved into our little haven, we couldn’t be happier. The boy is even more delighted as we now have a huge TV (just in time for the World Cup I keep being told!).
Last weekend we attended one of my good friends wedding and flew away to Spain. I’m delighted to be typing this in super sunny climes and wish all my posts could be from somewhere as glorious.
As we have been in such a whirlwind of late my nails had taken the toll. Unpacking boxes does not help manicured hands at all. So yesterday with vino flowing I set out to do a manicure on the terrace.
The result? Well the colour was fabulous, Essie – Don’t Sweater It , and the application went on really easily if a little gloppy in the heat. However the issue came when I was waiting for them to dry. The intense heat meant they simply did not want to dry. They bubbled instead. So bubbly it almost looks intensional and almost like a new type of nail art that is intended.
I will be re painting when I find a cooler spot. So learn from me that painting on holiday can cause disasters.
