This weekend I embraced something I never thought I would do. I did some gardening. Yup. Gardening. Of course this meant a mega shop for all the tools, gloves, trowels, forks, plants… It’s an expensive pursuit.
My mum is the best gardener in the world and I only have to look at a pot plant and it dies. Yet, now we have outdoor space I want it to look good. So I’m excited to see the hard work come to fruition. Grow little plants grow.
So 2 bin bags of weeds later our garden looked great, so much so we celebrated with a BBQ! So now I have official green fingers I thought I would reach for the amazing New Leighton Denny Glamazone for this weeks #SundayNails.
Aside from gardening, I’m super excited about the highlight of lawn tennis, Wimbledon. Champagne, Strawberries and Game, Set, Match.
With England well and truly out of the World Cup, I am ready to pray we make a better impression in the tennis.
I have had this grassy hue for awhile but not tried it as I was waiting for the right time. With a slight gold shimmer to the green it’s the perfect shade to celebrate the championship.
I started with Deborah Lippmann Rehydrating Base Coat, especially needed after all the gardening. I applied two coats of Glamazone, the hue is nicely opaque and applies beautifully. No streaks, no bubbles, a winner! I finished the set with Seche Vite Dry Fast.
What shade are you wearing on your #sundaynails for sports month?
