This weekend my parents came to stay, they have only meet the boy once so it was a proper get to know each other session, and really good to have guests at the new house. A great family weekend.
I spent the start of #SundayNails Sunday painting my mum’s nails a beautiful nude griege from Nails Inc, one of my all time favourite hues, a Porchester Square. You can read my post on it here.
For my nails, the boy requested a hot red! So I reached for a new red, one I was yet to blog about. Maybelline Forever Strong Super Stay 7 Days. I love the name of this polish, it speaks directly to the ethos of this blog. To find polishes that will get you from Sunday to Sunday, chip free.
This is Deep Red, a really good London Red, think Pillar Boxes, London Buses. A good capital staple.
I have never owned a Maybelline polish before and I am really impressed with both the application and the pigment. The brush is really wide and gives a one stroke application. From one coat the colour is opaque and strong.
I’m truly impressed by this power polish. It dries amazingly quickly and looks chic under a top coat of Seche Vite.
I’d love to know what your favourite red polish is?
