It’s our birthday! We are one. I’m so happy to have been writing for a year. I’m not sure where time has gone but I’m delighted to have shared my continual search for the ultimate DIY manicure shade.
To mark the occasion I had to go for sparkles. I love glitter, yet I also hate glitter. I hate having to remove it. It certainly takes the sparkle out of wearing it. I recently purchased OPI Glitter Off base coat, this has been deemed the miracle cure to removing glitter polish easily. I’m very excited but also doubtful. I have therefore only placed the glitter polish on my ring fingers.
For the other nails I opted for a super opaque white. I tried OPI Alpine Snow. It is literally as white as snow. From one coat it gave that Tipp-Ex Nail effect. I painted two coats as I wanted to get an even professional finish.
It was so nice to paint my nails this week as I have been away from my usual work to help work on project renovation of the new house. All I will say is painting a house is a lot more challenging than painting nails. Especially when you realise you have picked the wrong colour! My nails have been in a right state.
For the sparkle it had to bling, that meant one thing to me. I reached for my favourite glitter brand Spa Rituals. Illumination is everything it lives up to be with a diamond like sparkle.
The birthday manicure was of course finished with Seche Vite. Thank you for being part of our first year, we look forward to many more shared #SundayNails
