Crazily it’s February. Life has been really crazy. That sounds a lame excuse but really it has. January was filled with highs and real lows, including a super romantic birthday weekend in the Cotswolds to mum starting her Chemo for the second time in her life and us all dealing with the reality of cancer yet again.
But this is not the space for depressing subjects. This is about polish! Spring is in the air and I’m getting really excited about the new collections hitting the beauty floors. For this weeks #SundayNails I reached for a pink favourite. CHANEL suspicious.
Heralding from the fall of 2012, this dark pink hue is perfect for the change of season. It’s auspicious nod to the frosty weather allows happy reflexion to the sunny times ahead.
Two coats is a must when dealing with CHANEL nail polish, ensuring a super gloss finish. The brush doesn’t match in quality as I would prefer it to. Dior, Armani and Nails Inc have this perfected but this is nothing new. You paint with due care.
Surprisingly I don’t wear pink nail polish much, opting instead for a red. But today it seemed right. It’s not girly it’s bold.
It’s taking me on the countdown to Valentine’s. The boy and I are having a trip down memory lane on Saturday and I can’t wait. More about that next week!
