There’s nothing like a touch of couture on your nails. A touch of Parisian magic, a concocted hue. Striking and beautiful. A touch unconventional.

It is of course a limited edition CHANEL Le Vernis. We bid a spring welcome to Paradiso. A pearlised silver green. Think silver birch trees.

Reminiscent of the CHANEL cruise collection this gorgeous hue served as a backdrop to the ready-to-wear collections.

Adorning nails in this spring pearl was actually harder than expected. It is quite sheer, which wouldn’t always be too much of an issue but the pearly manner gives it a tendency to streak. The good thing is that this pearl is not irrediscent. It is just other worldly.

The Bear called them silver but it’s better than that. Whiter. A nude of green. Almost an oyster quality.

Despite its tricky application I really like it. I don’t often wear light colour nails and this has made me think I should do it more often.

I finished the manicure with Seche Vite, although it had reached that awful gloopy stage.   Not ideal at all. I need a stock up ASAP.

What spring shades have you tried recently?
