I haven’t posted for what seems like a lifetime. My nails have for the most part remained immaculate still. So where I have I been and what on earth have I been doing?
Well, with my wedding now only 96 days away and 6 months into a new (proper job) I have found my time evaporate! They also say that when you are loved up you abandon old aspects of your life and I’m 100% guilty. My desire for all things nails certainly hasn’t changed so this post also gives you an insight to my #SundayNails since 2016 kicked off…
I promise you I started in style with a gorgeous Louboutin stellar shade that I loved Santa (aka my new in-laws) for popping in my stocking.
Sevillana nail colour from Christian Louboutin comes in a faceted bottle with a patented formula to deliver a highly glossy and chip resistant coverage on the nail.
The stiletto heel handle is actually a really good feature helping you guide the polish. Almost like painting with a paint brush. You feel more controlled. The application is fluid and but not as opaque as I anticipated but with two coats it is beautiful. The best part is it’s staying power. I went almost a week and a half with this power polish.
I also got a little bit rose gold obsessed. I got a new iphone – a rose gold one to be exact. Plus, I also got very spoilt with a beautiful rose gold Monica Vinader Bracelet from the Hubby to be for Christmas! So as you can imagine, I wanted my #SundayNails mani to complement. I loved this look on Pinterest…
Now this was uber rose gold action. With a metallic finish. I loved it… A little too much, as clearly it distracted me! Before I could capture the look in all its glory I managed to cut my finger! I was cutting an onion and slipped. The knife is sooooo sharp I literally thought I’d cut through my finger … thankfully I have survived.
Last week I decided to have a winter look with a sparkle accent on my ring finger… With only 3 months until ‘I do’ I am making the most of my engagement bling.
Which #SundayNails look do you love?
